I love the sound of our gravel drive when I come home.  I love our big dogs with their even bigger hearts.  I thoroughly enjoy my sweet, early morning ritual before the kids rise. 

I’m blessed with a hard-working, good-hearted husband.  We will celebrate15 years in July.  I love and adore our two silly, often dusty children can usually be found outside.  They've taught me a lot about love, and also about patience, usually through testing it.

I have wonderful parents that after 53 years still truly love each.   I cherish the friendship of my two best friends, that have stood by side for years now.  I love my church and church family.  In my downtime I enjoy reading (usually non-fiction), being in nature, going new places and meeting new people, and a newfound love of watching my kids play baseball.

I'm beyond grateful to serve our One Amazing God!  His word continues to shape me, inspire me, and challenge me.

My life lesson: It’s not about me (thankfully, because without God, I'd have no idea what I’m doing).  God meets me in my difficulties and messes.  He shelters me as He teaches me new things and then takes me new places.  I'm thankful to share a bit of that with you, in hopes that my words bring you closer to the heart of God.
